Jillian and Ken decided to get married at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran, NJ. It is an absolutely GORGEOUS venue with the most amazing staff! Their food is delicious, their ballroom is amazing, their rooms are just MADE for weddings, everything is so pretty. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have natural light in your getting ready room. This place was made with natural light in mind, and I couldn’t be happier with the images we’ve created. I love showing off all the pretty details that a bride prepares for her wedding day. The shoes, the veil, her dress, the flowers. Every little thing is just perfect!

Scotland Run is one of my absolute favorite venus. Yes, I know, I say that about so many places, but lets be real here for one moment and talk about the luscious garden they have! Wow. Seriously, I just can’t contain my excitement for this place. It’s like a tropical oasis! It’s no wonder they chose this to be the place they tie the knot! It will forever have a magical place in their hearts.

Their day at Scotland Run started off, well, hot. It was a warm day but the sunshine was shining and I couldn’t be happier with these images! Alison looked breathtaking and her dress, that veil, those shoes! It was a photographers dream! Alison & Greg wanted to have an Ocean City, NJ Engagement Session . It was a beautiful August evening and we were able to get some beautiful sunshine as well as capture the most GORGEOUS sunset! These two love birds knew exactly what to do and needed little to zero coaching! Holding hands, soft kisses on the cheek, whispering funny little things to each other. It’s really a good example of pure romance. I love their life and how beautiful they are to one another.
Alison and Greg are true high school sweethearts and wanted to have romantic images captured. I’m pretty sure we accomplished that and I’m just so happy that it was such a fun session, they enjoyed themselves and were super comfortable showing their love for another! This is exactly how an engagement session should go!
Having an Ocean City, NJ Engagement Session is such a good idea, especially this pier and the Jetty! I’m so glad they chose this location and couldn’t be more excited and happy for them! Alison & Greg, Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for trusting me to capture these memories for you!!
It honestly felt like I was meeting up with two old friends. We just clicked automatically. During their consultation we began to plan their engagement session. They wanted to climb ontop of a building to capture the sunset. Later on, unfortunatly plans changed. They did however end up taking my husband and I off roading with their amazing dog, Ruger in their jeep! It was probably the most fun engagement session, and most down to earth experience I had ever had. Lauren and Justin weren’t about frills, or anything fancy. They wanted something real. Their dog, was probably the most amazing part of the day. He was like an extremely well behaved child who went with the flow and did what he was told. They made a sign to go around his neck for their save the dates, and he actually stood there like a handsome little boy. Here are some photos from their engagement session:
So for their wedding day, I knew I was going to have an amazing time!
It’s so perfect here. The historic towne of Smithville is quaint, and just set up for photos. It’s gorgeous, and so are they!
I have to say, that Lauren and Justin, are such an amazing couple. I know I talk about couples in love all the time, but they really are so much in love, it’s hard not to get emotional around them. Their wedding had me a bawling mess. So many tears, all day long. So many moments where you couldn’t help but cry because what was happening was just so beautiful. Weddings like these, are key reminders of why I do what I do, and why I am so passionate about capturing these moments.
I could chat all day about how perfect they are, and how amazing their day was, but I am just going to show you the photos.
Lauren and Justin, thank you SO much for trusting me to capture your day, and for allowing me to be there and enjoy these moments with you! I wish you nothing but love and success in your future together!
xoxo,
Lauren
Fabienne and John sipped their delectable cappuccino’s under the covered patio with plush blankets and warm hearts. This quaint cafe, shares special meaning to the two of them, which is why they chose this location to capture this amazing time in their lives. Not only can they see the church they will be married in through the trees from the patio, but they were also engaged here on March 30, 2015 as well! John planned the entire thing perfectly, as if it was out of a movie! Fabienne said that John has a violinist and a pianist play as he sang an Italian art song called “Morgen” (Tomorrow) by Richard Strauss to her (that he translated to English for her of course). If you hadn’t figured it out yet, John is a professional Rossini Tenor who preforms for various opera companies, he teaches private voice lessons AND one heck of a romantic! ::swoon:: They spend quite a bit of time here trying different gelato’s, enjoying the cider, and of course reminiscing about that perfect day!
Before reaching Caffee Galleria, we walked along the colorful path by Lambertville Station. The leaves were bright and gorgeous, and we were all so happy we were able to catch the fall foliage in November (which is totally hit or miss in NJ) ! The weather had it out for us, but rain will not keep us away from capturing these beautiful moments. In fact, I think it made it more romantic. There is no better way to spend a rainy day than snuggling with that special someone wrapped up in a cozy blanket and something warm in a cup!
Fabienne & John, thank you for allowing me to capture these special moments for you! I am looking forward to your amazing wedding in 2016!
